Description:GROUP OF EIGHT ANTIQUE CONTINENTAL SILVER ARTICLES. Consisting of: A. 800 fine German Silver Pastry Server with reticulated, chased and engraved decoration including cherubs playing musical instruments. Marked “800” on the top edge near the point; 9 inches long; 2 ounces. B. 833 fine Dutch Silver Pitcher with deep repousse vertical panels, floral engraving on the neck, scrolled foliate handle and a quatrefoil scrolled footed base. Marked under the base with Lion and #2 in a hexagon (Tardy page 321) and a maker’s mark; 5 ½ inches tall; 5.47 ounces. C. Set of six 833 fine Dutch silver ashtrays having repousse designs of figures in the center and reticulated floral rims (four different center designs, two of which are duplicated in the set). Each marked with the “dagger” mark for .833 silver, small articles (Tardy, page 321) and a maker’s mark “HH”; each 2 inches diameter; 4.06 ounces the group.
